Thank you for taking the time to help out with the lost pigeon. A lot of times a lost racing pigeon will hang around for a day or two and then continue on home. Sometimes you can help out by providing them with water and some grain. Corn, un popped popcorn, uncooked rice and wild bird seed are some things you may have around the house that you can give them.

If you can obtain the information from the band it is very likely that the owner can be located and the bird can be returned safely.
